This position is for a Manager, CSC Operations with a company in Starkville, MS.
Duties and Responsibilities Include: The Operations Manager ensures that a positive working environment is created and maintained; Provides continuous leadership and direction for improvement in the areas of safety, quality, delivery service and cost though Operational Perfection @ the company’s culture; Develop and direct a strong management team and work effectively through them to ensure that OPS objectives are met and exceeded; Operations: Be familiar with ISO and Wire & Cable quality system procedures and work instructions; Review operating goals and standards and monitor achievement; Must focus daily on continuous improvement in the areas of safety quality, waste, velocity, material usage and customer service; Management: Positively lead personnel to achieve prescribed objectives; Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in leading, supervising and coaching employees; Drive employee engagement to identify opportunities to improve in the areas of safety, quality, waste, velocity, material usage and customer service; Equipment/Safety: Monitor the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and oversee adjustments and/or repairs as necessary; Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety in accordance.
Requirements and Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; Broad knowledge of plant operations and technology is necessary; Working knowledge of 4DX and SQDCI principles; Proven leadership using Lean principles; A broad range of management skills is required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning; Must have excellent verbal and written skills along with exceptional interpersonal skills; Must be PC literate and have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP (preferred).
