Summary: At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Operations Intern to help us advance the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:  Work with Operations Manager/Operations Team to plan, organize, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations. Assist in the proposal of strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. Assist Operations Manager in monitoring operations and trigger corrective actions. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup to help manage and develop plant staff. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime. Commit to plant safety procedures. Support the fostering of effective collaboration across work site that promotes drive for results and meeting production targets.  Assist in the development of systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

 Requirements and Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management, mechanical, industrial technology, or related field. Experience contributing to a team in a fast-paced/comparative and/or self-directed environment. Computer literacy with the ability to generate relative manufacturing reports. Must be a U.S. Person.
