This position is for a Manager of Counseling with a company in Memphis, TN.

Summary: Oversee, develop and implement policies and procedures relating to the Counseling Programs. Supervises the work and coordinates the activities of assigned staff and provides support for the total Center staff to enhance student social, educational, and emotional development and in obtaining the appropriate support and resources needed to successfully complete the program. Coordinates the career preparation services for enrolling students. Maintains quality control responsibility for determining student readiness for CDP and transition services for former enrollees. Establishes and maintains linkages for the Job Corps Center with support services agencies, potential employers, and field Career Transition Specialist.

Education and Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor Degree with 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction and three years experience in counseling or related field; and have two years of supervisory experience. (Transcript required and must be provided Fax to 901.344.5930 or email to money.shirley@jobcorps.org. DAYS/HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 4:45 pm (One day per week 10 am - 7 pm TBD)
