Create detailed blueprints outlining specific parameters and techniques for welding operations, ensuring they meet design specifications and engineering standard; Develop, monitor and update quality welding processes to ensure safety, quality and efficiency in the welding operations; Assist in developing structural design of welding equipments; Review welding procedure documents to ensure consistency in welding practices and to maintain thorough records of all procedures ; Conduct defect analysis to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions accordingly; Develop alternate processing methods to assess feasibility, and maintenance requirements for continuous improvement of welding automation; Provide training on welding technologies and operational procedures.

Job requirements: Minimum bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in mechanical engineering or similarly related fields, and 2 year experience in welding process. In lieu of bachelor’s degree and 2-year experience, employer will accept 4 years of work experience in welding process. Experience must include 1 year of experience in developing, monitoring and updating quality welding processes; conduct defect analysis of welding process to identify root causes and implement corrective actions; Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience, education or training.
