Hours: Normal work shift for this position is 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday; however, the start time is subject to change depending on departmental needs.

Job Purpose:
East Mississippi Electric Power Association is searching for a motivated Member Services Representative with an enthusiastic and friendly personality to join our team.
As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing professional, courteous and efficient service to meet the needs of our members. This position performs a variety of member service functions related to a member's electric and/or fiber service. These functions include, but are not limited to processing member bill payments, processing new memberships and accounts, processing work/service orders, responding to member's inquiries and resolving issues while effectively communicating the Association's policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: A high school diploma/GED is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years of customer service/cashier work experience with the public contact is required. Experience must be similar to East MS EPA (bank teller, other utility such as cable, fiber, water, gas).
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Abilities and Skills:
Remain professional and courteous with members.
Create a positive and respectful environment among coworkers and members.
Proficient communication and mathematical skills.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge.
Must be able to meet the physical demands and work environment as listed in the job description.
Must be able to work irregular and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, when necessary.
Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen, and E-Verification.
