This position is responsible for facilitating the purchase of all supplies and equipment based on company needs. The Purchasing Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, PR/PO creation, tracking deliveries and updating order records using SAP under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manager and in a manner that meets the Company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order conversion
Sending Purchase Orders to suppliers
Track orders to ensure on-time delivery
Update SAP with delivery information and other changes from suppliers
BANF preparation for all un-equipped departments
Assist with sourcing products and services for internal departments
Follow-up on Order Confirmations
Maintain Fleet Maintenance Records
Assist with IT support for the Plant
Maintain supplier insurance and certification logs
Reconcile invoice variances
Monitoring stock levels of office supplies, packaging material, etc.
Assist with internal auditing documentation and compliance requirements
All other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations
Experience with SAP
Previous MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent work-related experience
