Overview
This job has responsibility to support the Tax Information Manager as assigned or requested in the maintenance, control, accuracy and completeness of income taxation related information on accounts, assets and relationship records and data, and internal and external processes that report and distribute tax information to the Internal Revenue Service, state agencies, clients or parties designated by clients to receive tax information. This includes quarterly tax payments to the Federal or state governments as required and escheatment of assets or funds under state law to the respective states.
Responsibilities
As assigned or requested, support in the control and collaboration of external tax service providers to assure timely, accurate and complete assimilation, sharing and reporting of required tax information.
As assigned or requested, support in the control and maintenance of the quality, accuracy, and completeness of all tax related client, relationship and asset records and data on the operating platform and executing corrective measures when requested by the manager.
As assigned or requested, support in the control and maintenance of processes that assure the timeliness, quality, accuracy, and completeness of all taxation related transactions, payments or escheatment as required by respective state laws.
As assigned or requested, support in the control and maintenance of processes that assure the timeliness, quality, accuracy, and completeness of all IRA contributions and required minimum distribution calculations and proper communication to clients.
Support the Tax Information Manager and the Wealth Management Firm Operations Manager as requested for unit projects, or operational events.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Degree:
Bachelor's Degree in business related field with 4 years of experience in a financial or accounting firm related to tax information or filing
Preferred Certificates:
Prior Attainment of a FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, etc.
Certified Securities Operations Professional ("CSOP")
Certified Public Accountant ("CPA")
Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist ("CFIRS")
Certified Trust and Financial Advisor ("CTFA")
Graduate from Cannon Financial Schools, Southern Trust School or Northern Trust School
DTCC Learning Certifications
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
