Clinician C&Y Services
PBMHR has an opening for an office-based Clinician to provide services at a mental health center in McComb, MS. This position would work with children and youth with a serious mental illness diagnosis. This will be a full time Monday through Friday position from 8a to 5p and no on call duties. 



















Requirements:
Education/License:

  • Master's degree in behavioral health field required

  • Clinical license preferred

  • Must be able to obtain Clinical license or DMH Therapist certification within 90 days of hire

  • Must have valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record



Work Experience/Skills:

  • Behavioral health experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills required

  • Behavioral health internship required

  • Independent work ability

  • Excellent communication skills required

Responsibilities:


  • Asks appropriate questions as required by the clinical intake documentation, to elicit information.

  • Assists consumer in establishing realistic therapeutic goals appropriate to the problems presented.

  • Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

  • Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.

  • Provides written record of consumer's progress through the therapeutic process.

  • Uses information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and severity of condition.
