License:  Current Mississippi RN License or Mississippi RN license eligible.

HHS Alliance Mental Health is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our mental health facility. As an RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health care, collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our mental health programs.

Responsibilities:

1. 
   

   Patient Care:

   
   
   
   
   • Administer and manage psychiatric medications and treatments.
   
   
   • Monitor and assess mental health status, responding to changes promptly.
   
   
   • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
   
   
   
   


2. 
   

   Documentation:

   
   
   
   
   • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to regulatory standards.
   
   
   • Ensure thorough and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
   
   
   
   


3. 
   

   Collaboration:

   
   
   
   
   • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other mental health professionals in care planning.
   
   
   • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care.
   
   
   
   


4. 
   

   Support and Education:

   
   
   
   
   • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
   
   
   • Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
   
   
   
   

Qualifications:

1. Current and valid RN license in MS.


2. Graduation from an accredited nursing program.


3. BLS certification; additional mental health certifications a plus.


4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mental health setting.
