SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Secret clearance or Interim secret clearance
Education/Experience:
¾ High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent
¾ 4 years’ experience in 3M (Maintenance, Material and Management) workstation and user operator experience/expertise for Technical Data Networks (TDN), Enterprise Tactical Command and Control Local Area Network Suite (NETC2), Rapid Response Key (RRK) and Expeditionary Deployable Node (EDN)
¾ Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification eligibility and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements.
¾ Technical Writer/Operator expertise in tactical communications equipment.
¾ 2 years of knowledge and experience in the capabilities and functionalities of Microsoft Office Suite.
¾ 2 years in working knowledge of basic computer networking skills to include, but not limited to, hardware (switch, router, blade server, net app, fire walls) and software (Windows 10, Virtue Machines (VM) Ware, MS Shareware server, MS Server 2012, MS Scanner, MS Exchange Server 2016 (emails).
¾ 2 years of Information Maintenance Security and Information Network Systems experience.
¾ Four (4) years of experience in understanding Technical Manuals, Communication Information System Manuals, Tactical Communication Manuals, and directives or instructions and procedures.
¾ Three (3) years of experience in managing multiple priorities, meet deadlines, exercise initiative in gathering, assembling, collating, and analyzing information for completion of projects.
¾ Three (3) years of experience in customer service.
¾ Sufficient knowledge, skill, and experience in maintaining and operating and performing Level I & II 3M maintenance on tactical radio systems.
¾ A valid up to date Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) Security+ Certification or have equivalent qualifications (Equivalent NEC/Rate, Information System Maintenance Technician (731A), Information System Security Manager (741A), Network Security Vulnerability Technician (742A).
Responsibilities/Requirements:
¾ Ability to work independently or as part of a team

¾ SECRET security clearance required.
Description of Duties:
¾ Meet with Equipment WCS to update the equipment status.
¾ Perform necessary 3M maintenance actions on all applicable equipment; document in SKED as required.
¾ Perform necessary system patching, scanning and maintenance for NECC Enterprise Tactical Command and Control Local Area Network Suite (NETC2), Rapid response Kit (RRK), and Expeditionary Data Network (EDN) maintenance.
¾ Coordinate updates and maintenance of NECC Enterprise Tactical Command and Control Local Area Network Suite (NETC2), Rapid response Kit (RRK) and Expeditionary Data Network (EDN) and Tactical Data Network (TDN) with NECC and SYSCOM,
¾ Apply policies and directives prescribed by higher authority.
¾ Read, interpret and ensure compliance with publications, instructions, notices, local directives and changes thereto as appropriate in accordance with 3M.
¾ Support daily work center day-to-day operations by performing 3M maintenance work, phone calls, emails, and or attending meetings.
¾ Support NCG2’s 5 ECD subordinate units with assistance/guidance on communications equipment maintenance (3M Program) IAW 4790, Organizational Maintenance Management Systems-Next Generation (OMMS-NG), and SKED.
¾ Train and assist other information technician and or communications students in a professional manner.
¾ Assist in the development of new or revised training or testing materials for formal course use in support of data network systems.
¾ Review, verify, and approve weekly reports originated within the Work Center.
¾ Perform necessary 3M for multiple Radio and Communications Systems.
¾ Ensure equipment is cycled properly in support of all PM requirements
¾ Validate all scheduled checks and equipment availability prior to start of each maintenance quarter.
¾ Schedule PMS checks IAW OPNAV INST 4790.1 series.
¾ Review maintenance and repair cost estimates
¾ Prepare standard operating procedures (SOP).
¾ Audit PMS manuals and FBR's and provide WC to WCS.
¾ Provide feedback for all communications equipment maintained
