Project Cost Estimator needed at Etairos HVAC in Madison, MS.

Perform cost estimation duties by reviewing plans and specs, pricing equipment, estimating projects, preparing submittals, and preparing orders. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Work with manufacturers to coordinate application questions/issues, special order requirements and order tracking. Attend factory training and other conferences as required by the management. Assist outside sales engineers with pricing, selection, submittals and orders. Discuss project documents and other requirements with the outside sales engineer to ensure that the proper equipment is priced and quoted. Work with the outside sales engineer and factory to provide correct submittals. Work with the outside sales engineer and factory to get the order correctly submitted to the factory.

Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field and two years of experience, including cost estimation for HVAC equipment projects – specifically with variable refrigerant flow systems; and developing and communicating cost estimates to internal teams and external clients. Must be able to travel domestically 5% of the time.
