POSITION SUMMARY:

The Imaging Department MRI Technologist under general direction of the Lead MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and related activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One to three years experience performing MRI and/or three to five years experience performing CT scans; strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; A.R.R.T. certification in MRI.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education or equivalent; graduation from an A.R.R.T. accredited school of X-Ray Technology; A.R.R.T. registration in radiography; current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist; CPR for health care workers; ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, hours vary from 6:30AM - 6:30PM with 10-hour shifts to include a Saturday rotation
