Faculty in the Workforce Solutions Division of Meridian Community College are integral representatives of the institution. They are to be a strong advocate of their related career field, and passionate about transferring the knowledge and experience they have gained to instruct, mentor, and prepare Meridian Community College Students for the Workforce.

Applicant must have an unencumbered registered nursing license in Mississippi and must:
1. hold a minimum of an Bachelor Degree in Nursing
2. have three (3) years clinical experience working as a registered nurse; or have two (2) years’ experience as faculty in a nursing/allied health program
3. satisfy clinical agency requirements.

College transcripts are required to complete the application process. Letters of recommendation are optional to submit with your application; however, if you do not submit 2 letters of recommendation or have 2 responses received from the listed references, your application is not complete and will not be considered.

Meridian Community College has an open position for a Practical Nursing faculty. The applicant needs to possess teamwork, interpersonal communications, confidentiality, and customer service skills. Applicants need to be proficient in various clinical environments and with the use of computers/technology; in addition to being able to work well with faculty, staff, students and community members.
