SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: Up to 24 hours per week CONTRACT TERM: July 1, 2026 Through June 30, 2027 RESPONSIBILITIES: Make diagnoses of speech language and hearing disorders in adults with multiple or complex challenges. Administers and interprets results of various specialized tests for speech language disorders and hearing losses. Interprets physician’s findings and makes recommendations to the Interdisciplinary Team and works with them in carrying out such plans. Develops Individual Support Plans in accordance with the strengths and needs of the individuals within the unit. Documents and reports learner progress and programs. Assesses each individual using a Comprehensive Functional Assessment. Prepares Preliminary Enrollment Plans and Discharge Summaries. Prepares for and participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings. Plans and offers staff training. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and/or Audiology from an accredited four-year college or university; AND have an active, unrestricted license to practice as a SLP in MS; AND at least 5 years of experience working as a SLP with individuals with IDD. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Must have a valid MS driver’s license, or license from a contiguous state, and have personal vehicle insurance in order to drive a State vehicle.
