Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering; and Twenty-four (24) months as a Manufacturing Engineer, Test Engineer, or Project Engineer. In lieu of a BA in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering plus Twenty-four (24) months as a Manufacturing Engineer, Test Engineer, or Project Engineer, employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Applicant must possess working knowledge of: computer-aided design (CAD) software; programmable logic controller (PLC) programming; continuous improvement and/or cost-saving initiatives; and automotive industry standards and process documentation, including SORs, APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEAs, flow charts, routings, and IATF 16949.
