Senior Nursing Students and/or Graduates who are board eligible from an accredited school of nursing may apply to work under the direct supervision of an RN. Graduate RNs execute evaluations of delegated patients and simultaneously plan, implement, and document nursing care. Provides assistance to nursing peers as requested. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and observes the administration of medications by the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. All care should be delegated by the RN and given in a therapeutic manner. The Graduate RN must obtain a board date and have a MS RN license within 120 days of hire.

+ C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
+ C-AHA ACLS
