The Manager, Data Networks is responsible for all aspects of Network Operations including planning, design, development, implementation and ongoing support of all network equipment. Assists with strategic direction of Data Center Operations and Network Infrastructure.

+ Assists in furnishing and carrying out the vision of how technology is applied for Data Center Operations. Researches and recommends the purchase of hardware, software and training to support IT operations. Assists Sr. Manager, Enterprise Operations in developing strategic direction for crewmembers.
+ Works proactively to insure the security, availability and responsiveness of the company IT systems. Insures that all IT system problems are solved in a timely and efficient manner. Help to create and maintain productive and efficient operations. Effectively prioritize project work and daily tasks.
+ Ensure crewmembers are effective in supporting daily operations. Defines, documents and maintains policies and procedures for Data Center Operations.
+ Develops and supervises effective working relationships with customers, other departments, groups, peers and vendors. Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, clearly articulate risks, issues, and project status. Cross-train and develop crewmembers. Hire, train, and give performance feedback.
+ Assists Sr. Manager, Enterprise Operations budget Capital and Operating Expenses for Data Center Operations. Vendor management, to include negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure value for dollars invested.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
+ BS or BA degree with an emphasis in Information Technology or similar experience in an IT capacity.
+ A minimum of six years of IT experience involving Networking, Routers, Firewalls and vendor management.
+ Graduate degree in business or a related field together with significant experience and knowledge of the IT industry desired.
+ Must have a strong desire and demonstrated ability to successfully lead people and manage resources.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
