New System Development
+ Design, write and maintain user acceptance, integration, and regression testing documentation according to business requirements and technical design documents.
+ Execute formal system testing and quality assurance testing of any application modifications, enhancement and/or upgrades to ensure the application meets the desired business need.
+ Document any/all issues discovered and work with software development to resolve any issue(s).
+ Conduct production testing as needed to validate successful deployment
+ Provide reports to the IT and project management teams on the status of test design, execution, and progress.
+ Analyze and test production defect fixes in the testing queue to ensure resolution meets the original specifications of the system and does not adversely affect other systems. Provide time estimates for testing such changes and final sign-off for deployment to production.
+ As necessary, create and execute comprehensive test plans for vendor upgrades to existing applications. Actively report system issues through ticket creation and monitor to completion.
+ Continually receive training on new and existing systems.
+ 10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required in Accounting and/or Finance. Minimum of 2 years experience with ERP applications (Oracle e-Business Suite, SAP, Great Plains, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, etc.) is preferred. Previous testing experience is also preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. Must have strong problem-solving skills and high level of initiative. Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
