TheITService Transition Specialistcontributes to the growth and management of the business consistent with Smartronix' overall strategy. This role is marked by sustained contributions to the company's strategy, vision, and success; measured in terms of the individual's abilitytoCoordinate and partner with internal divisions/groups (SA, BD, O&M, PM) to ensure effective transition of new clients to cloud operations team.TheService Transition Specialistplays a significant role in meeting client requirements for information technology and engineering solutions by: Responsibilities + Driving the service transition for new Smartronix managed services customers + Be a relentless advocate for your customers with all internal teams to improve solutions and ensure that onboarding into Smartronix Managed Services is successful + Interact with client leadership and technical teams to facilitate onboarding requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, and methodology + Monitor IT Cloud projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress, quality, managing issue resolution as necessary. + Drive communication with all project stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition. + Cultivate effective working relationships with client, Smartronix, and partner teams to maximize productivity and customer service delivery + Work in a highly matrixed environment and develop relationships across Smartronix to provide the best possible customer experience. + Anticipate problems or situations that could affect project success. Assess potential impact to the project and develop and execute the best solution. Manage escalated situations as needed + Manage the On-boarding and Transition Cycle and forecast for Managed Services. + Educate Clients on Service Offerings. + Weekly onboarding reporting to Cloud BU Management for Managed Services customers + This role advocates and implements processes for Transition Planning and Support, Change Management, Service Asset and Configuration management, Knowledge management, and Service validation and testing. + Ensuring that the final delivery of each service transition meets the agreed customer and stakeholder requirements specified in the statement of work. Required Skills + Strong leadership and relationship management skills + Strong business analysis skills and logical mindset + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills + Self-motivated; ability to maintain excellence with minimum supervision + Well versed in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools + 3 + years' related experience Desired Skills + ITIL Foundation Certificate + Operational experience in an MSP environment + AWS Foundation cert or Azure Fundamentals cert Vaccination is a requirement of the position per Executive Order 14042.
