Worship Minister (Oxford Campus)
SUMMARY

The Worship Minister works in partnership with the Oxford Campus Lead Worship Minister to lead the worship and technical teams for Pinelake Oxford's campus. As a leader, this person will assist in the development, implementation, direction, and promotion of a Worship Ministry that is relevant to both the Pinelake Oxford congregation and to the wider community. The Worship Minister will serve as the primary worship leader for PL College services, PL Students UNITED services and other services as appropriate. This person will be responsible for the spiritual health and musical development of the teams within his/her care.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.

+ Assists the Campus Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.

+ As a part of the overall Oxford staff team, participate in campus-wide ministry events and the shepherding of our Oxford faith family.

+ Basic personal responsibilities:

+ Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.

+ Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).

+ Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.

+ Maintain active participation in community.

+ Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.

+ Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24). Value the 7 H's of our staff culture in your heart, home, and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health and Harmony).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Plans, oversees and evaluates all components of College Worship ministry, including PL College and PL Students UNITED gatherings.

+ Conducts regular planning meetings with peers, subordinates, and servant leaders.

+ As necessary, assists other pastors and local campus ministries in the successful completion of regular worship events and special events.

+ Participates in the selection of worship resources to effectively communicate God's eternal truths; remain up-to-date on new resources.

+ Assists with the management of the campus worship ministry budget within the parameters established by the Campus Pastor and Oxford Campus Lead Worship Minister.

+ Establishes goals and objectives for College Worship ministry and initiates strategies to fulfill them.

+ Works closely with Oxford Campus Lead Worship Minister, College and Student Pastors/Ministers to ensure continuity of worship service programming among areas of the ministries.

+ Plans and promotes activities to support College worship ministry.

+ In keeping with the principles taught in Ephesians 4:11-12, supervises the enlistment, education, and evaluation of all servant leaders in the College Worship Ministry, which may include vocalists, band members, and production support teams.

+ Performs administrative duties such as compiling reports, preparing expense reports and completing purchasing orders as specified by church policy.

+ Attends at least one regular weekly worship service and be present on the church campus during all other regular weekly worship services.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with and leads servant leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree preferred. Two to four years of administrative experience minimum for competitive candidates. Applicable experience may substitute for portions of the educational framework.
