Job Summary

The Program Manager will directly support the Program Director by assisting with scheduling programmatic trainings and events, maintaining communication with program staff, overseeing procurement procedures for necessary purchases, and keeping the budget updated. The Program Manager will work 19 hours per week.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

+ Serves as the primary point of contact for the program and oversees educational curriculum and systems. Responsibilities include preparing and sending necessary program documents and student forms, maintaining accurate student files, and collaborating with the program liaison, program coordinator, CTE career coaches, and student apprentices to ensure student success.

+ Maintains and track program inventory. Conducts regular inventory audits. Assists in state mandated and agency audits.

+ Orders program supplies and coordinate delivery, as requested. Processes necessary forms for purchases and program expresses through Monday.com. Serve as program liaison to the business manager.

+ Manages personnel actions under supervision of director, including submitting remittance vouchers for student apprentices and educational consultants.

+ Provides administrative support to the Program Director, which includes gathering, analyzing, and/or entering data; coordinating events and public relations efforts; managing the program's website, calendar, and facility reservations; handling correspondence; and preparing reports for funding agencies.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of office experience - OR - equivalent experience in the field of education, with a combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

+ Proficiency with a PC and keyboard to perform data entry, manipulation, and analysis.

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as grant and programmatic procedure manuals.

+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in Microsoft Office.

+ Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues and industry partners.

+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.

+ Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and judgment in dealing with sensitive issues.

+ Ability to problem solve under direction of program director.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with K-12 educational curriculum and systems.
