Executive**with Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange? This
position will be based in a dynamic territory covering Louisiana,
Mississippi, Tennessee, and parts of Alabama. From meeting with rural
electric cooperatives to strengthening client relationships, this
utility\'s role offers the ideal balance of independence, challenge, and
professional growth.

**THE BASICS**

**Pay & Perks**: You\'ll enjoy the freedom of a remote position with
travel, a starting salary of**\$90,000/year**(based on experience), a
company vehicle, a computer, a printer, a cell phone, and the essential
tools to make your home office truly functional!

**Schedule**: This is a full-time position with typical hours from**8:00
AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday**. As an Account Executive,
however, you\'ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule to best
serve your clients across the region. Expect regular travel and
occasional overnight stays to meet with members.

**YOUR DAY AS AN ELECTRIC INSURANCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE**

Your day will begin by connecting with decision-makers and consultants
at rural electric cooperatives, providing expert advice on maintaining
and improving utility insurance programs. You\'ll travel to member
locations across your multi-state territory, sharing information and
quotes, customizing coverage, and offering guidance to minimize
potential risks. As you assist clients with their needs, you\'ll stay
engaged with the industry by representing Federated at regional and
annual meetings, continually learning and applying your knowledge.
You\'ll also manage detailed records of member information, ensuring
seamless support.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ELECTRIC INSURANCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE**

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to set priorities to meet
client needs
- Professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet, and essential
office tools
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn commercial insurance,
electric utility operations, and Federated\'s products and policies
- Ability to travel overnight

At least three years of experience in property and casualty insurance
sales or over five years in rural electric utility is preferred.
