Sr Manager Clinical Education & Product Coordination
**Position Overview**

This national position reports directly to the Product Marketing organization with the primary responsibility of ensuring the success of customer facing events involving hands on requests with Fujifilm's endoscopic and/or endosurgical technologies including capital equipment and single use devices. In this role, it will be critical for the individual to understand the clinical needs of our internal and external customers from an educational and equipment perspective, to proactively plan for events and equipment needs and to solicit feedback from all stakeholders (internal and external) to continually ensure the success of these events moving forward.

**Job Description**

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Be primary point of contact for all hands-on requests for capital equipment and devices for product and clinical training.

+ Manage relationship with select society(s) to identify hands on opportunities as well as other avenues for broader collaboration.

+ Closely manage hands on courses by engaging with host physicians to align on objectives and equipment needs in support of meeting those objectives.

+ For events involving hands on larger than 2 stations, enter equipment request into Salesforce (or other internal system/database) in a timely manner, based on feedback from course organizers and equipment requested.

+ Review requested equipment for all hands-on events in detail to ensure proper equipment is being requested and optimal utilization of Fujifilm's technologies (capital and devices) in respective hands-on courses.

+ Communicate in advance with sales and marketing leadership regarding key objectives for each course as well as faculty supporting.

+ Coordinate the attendance of Fujifilm employees, in conjunction with Sales and Marketing leadership, to ensure adequate support, based on equipment being provided.

+ Attend select group of hands-on events throughout the year based on collaborative discussion with Sales and Marketing leadership.

+ Partner with the Product Management team to incorporate new technologies into hands on courses.

+ Partner with Marketing to map out cadence and execute Fujifilm led hands on courses.

+ If unable to attend events, solicit feedback from those in attendance and distribute a summary, with key takeaways, on overall success of event, potential areas for improvement and whether Fujifilm should support in the future.

+ Connect hands on participant with local sales team when applicable, to initiate evaluation of technology clinically. Share success stories internally as it relates to hands on support resulting in subsequent evaluation of technology clinically.

+ Manage direct report(s) as appropriate to accomplish business and educational objectives.

+ Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

+ Comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties.

**Qualifications:**

+ BA/BS or equivalent, preferably with a degree related to healthcare or biology or equivalent experience Masters Degree preferred.

+ Minimum 10 years in flexible endoscopy field and strong clinical background with a Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of experience with a Master's degree.

+ Minimum 10 years of medical device industry experience in a clinical capacity (clinical demonstration and education) with a Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of experience with a Master's degree.

+ Proficient in use of MS Office applications

+ Operate a computer effectively and efficiently.

+ Effectively manage time and budget requirements.

+ Ability to manage relationships with outside vendors and/or societies.

+ Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM databases preferred.

+ Planning and organization skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ People-management skills and experience.

+ Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.

+ Ability to write reports and relay information accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Ability to prioritize customer requirements.

+ Ability to speak in front of small groups of people.

+ Ability to speak professionally and relay technical information to internal and external customers.

+ Knowledge of North American healthcare systems and dynamics.

+ Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with key opinion leaders, strategic accounts, and colleagues at all levels. Critical thinking skills and the ability to develop tactical and strategical plans

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, ability to use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.

+ Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

+ Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

**Travel:**

+ Frequent travel up to 50% of the time, including evenings and occasional weekends.

+ Must possess a valid driver's license.
