Principal Technical Program Manager
**Job Description**

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll be driving mission-critical programs across the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Operations and Continuous Delivery(CD). You will be responsible for managing and driving the delivery of complex, cross-organizational analytical programs that impact both product and business for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role will have exposure to multiple critical business initiatives at executive level visibility. The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects. You'll need to understand various cloud technologies and technical trade-offs. You will be expected to regularly attend high-level meetings to present project information and status to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional problem solver, a strong communicator (both written and verbal), with a well-rounded technical background and a history of leading large-scale projects end-to-end.

Manage a team that drives critical OCI initiatives and programs, standardizes data analytics, forecasting, and program engineering, and continuously improves operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

Partner with team members, leaders, and program stakeholders across OCI to develop a deep understanding of program objectives and KPIs and identify priorities.

Organize interdepartmental tasks and proactively monitor program status and KPIs to ensure on-time and quality delivery.

Monitor the program from initiation through delivery and interfacing with customers on technical matters.

Proactively identify future workstreams to expand team impact and customer base.

Encourage a self-starter team culture to enable better handling of situations with urgent needs and lack of clarity. _Provide subject matter expertise to the team to remove program blockers._

Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the quality and efficiency of the team and encourage long-term vision and thinking.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of OCI.

Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications.

Desired Skills:

+ Track record of managing and empowering technical teams that deliver complex technology programs from end to end.

+ Solid foundation in cloud computing technology and operations

+ Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of analytics, data engineering, and product management, with the ability to accurately articulate project status and risks to an Executive audience.

+ BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.

+ Seven years of data analytics/data engineering or related experience is typically needed.

+ 10+ years of cross-functional program management experience in a high-pressure environment.

+ Display a demonstrated ability to use good judgment and to think broadly and strategically.

+ Self-starter and comfortable operating at a fast pace with minimal direction

+ Ability to own and manage multiple programs simultaneously while dealing with ambiguity.

+ Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging data.

+ Results-oriented, meaning you are focused on driving results, even if it means rolling up your sleeves to get it done

+ A natural collaborator with a proven ability to work across teams to meet tight deadlines.

+ Possess a background that enables you to understand the complexities of the sophisticated architecture of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

+ Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

+ Works well with all levels of senior leaders (from engineering to business) to drive results for core business initiatives.

+ Works well in ambiguity and can work with your team to dive into a problem and create a solution.

**Responsibilities**

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
