Job Summary

Teach coursework in Doctor of Audiology Program and undergraduate program. Develop a line of research/scholarly activity. Serve on University/College/School Committees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

+ Teach academic coursework in Doctor of Audiology curriculum.

+ Develop a line of research/scholarly activity.

+ Serve on University/College/School committees.

+ Serve as mentor to students and/or faculty members.

+ Teach courses in undergraduate Speech and Hearing Sciences program as needed.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD or EdD in audiology, hearing science, or closely related professional field. Will consider ABD applicants.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

+ Be flexible.

+ Utilize teamwork and interpersonal skills.

+ Have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with all groups of individuals.

+ Must demonstrate adaptability and persistence while working with individuals and University students.

+ Must demonstrate sensitivity, respect, and be discreet when dealing with confidential matters.

+ Must be detail orientated and timely with all required notes, files and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in teaching audiology or related coursework. Expertise in diagnostic audiology,psychoacoustics,amplification, pediatric audiology,electrophysiology, or vestibular testing/treatment.
