**Job Description**

Oracle Global Industry Units Cloud Architecture is seeking a dynamic **Cloud Solutions Architect** and thought leader for the Oracle Health division of the organization. This role will impact the industry through leading multidisciplinary projects focused on architecting, re-developing, migrating, improving, designing, and prototyping complex cross-product solutions involving Oracle's Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and Healthcare products. This highly technical engineering role will focus on evolving Oracle's entire Helathcare product portfolio, including complex movement scenarios, providing expert guidance, as well as roll up your sleeves engagements to transform strategic products while redefining what it means to be cloud native. The position is highly visible with senior management. The Solution Architect is responsible for structuring and leading complex, strategic internal and external engagements involving coordination across teams and products, innovative use of Oracle's Cloud Development products and tools, and establishing a regular feedback channel into the Development organization resulting in product improvements and innovations

**Responsibilities**

**Typical Duties and Responsibilities include:**

+ Design complex and innovative solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud offerings to address critical business requirements of our customers.

+ Lead technical discussions across Oracle Health.

+ Assess the current product portfolio and build repeatable patterns for mapping current state for our products to cloud solutions and provide guidance to involved internal and external parties to ensure successful implementations and uptake of best practices.

+ Manage competing, quickly changing priorities effectively and handle input from many internal and external collaborators and stakeholders.

+ Structure and execute plans for a given project in challenging environments with a minimum of guidance.

+ Closely collaborate with high caliber peers and a variety of teams and groups in a highly dynamic environment.

+ Identify common pain points in Oracle products and solutions and propose practical alternatives to improve them.

+ Establish relationships and feedback channels into product management and product engineering ultimately resulting in product improvements and innovations.

We are seeking an exceptional technical leader with extraordinary attention to detail. The selected candidate will play a solution architect role with excellent tracking and reporting skills, in-depth understanding of current cloud technologies and products, and has a strong sense for market trends and emerging technologies and tools within and outside of Oracle's portfolio.

The Solution Architect must have communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, succinctly articulate business impacts, translate technical information into layperson and business terms, concisely 'storyboard' complex problems, solutions, and approaches in a manner appropriate for executives. In addition, these skills are critical for developing frameworks, templates, and high-quality pragmatic deliverables that can be carried forth and executed by project teams, while articulating and demonstrating gaps in our products based on real world use cases.

The selected candidate will have problem solving skills with the ability to develop and analyze options/hypotheses objectively, applies industry-leading practices, and facilitates negotiations/discussions involving groups of diverse stakeholders.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
