Voice & Data Technician
Job Description

This position requires one employee to be located in each of the following locations:

-North/Northwest MS (Oxford, Clarksdale, Southaven)

-Jackson-Metro/Central MS

-South/Southwest MS (Hattiesburg, Brookhaven, McComb)

-The Voice & Data Technician is responsible for the physical installation, testing, & troubleshooting of VoIP equipment, IP phone networks, and other network equipment including routers and switches. Must be proficient in VoIP and TDM voice services.

-Work with customers to resolve any troubles and be proactive in trying to eliminate outages.

-Work with customers, vendors and other companies to test new products. It is important to note that this work could require this person to fit in smaller spaces, lift equipment up to 50 lbs., etc.

-The Technician will be based in their local markets, providing onsite support for customers in that area and working from home when not onsite with customers. A company vehicle will be provided once brought on full time.

Skills and Requirements

-2+ year's professional experience installing, troubleshooting, deploying, dispatching, and/or maintaining VoIP systems using any of the following networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Cisco/Adtran/Meraki routers & switches, APs, firewalls, command line configuration null
