**What You'll Be Doing:**
**Associate Director, Performance Analytics - Oncology & Member Product Focus**
**Overview:**
Evolent is seeking an experienced and strategic **Associate Director of Performance Analytics** to lead data-driven initiatives focused on oncology and member-centric products. This role plays a critical part in both **Medical Cost Management** and **Product Management** , leveraging advanced analytics to solve complex healthcare challenges and support impactful decision-making that enhances organizational performance and patient outcomes.

**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Lead in-depth analyses of healthcare data - including authorizations, claims, membership, and clinical outcomes to identify cost drivers, utilization patterns, and opportunities for integrated care solutions using SQL, SAS, Excel, and Power BI (or similar BI tools)
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, streamline project execution, and enhance the accuracy and reliability of analytic outputs.
+ Apply programming expertise to explore and interpret large, complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
+ Communicate technical concepts and implications to internal/external business customers.
+ Act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, proactively identifying business challenges, refining analytical approaches, and delivering strategic recommendations that drive enterprise-wide decision-making.
+ Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, proactively identifying business challenges and delivering data-driven recommendations.
+ Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, perform statistical analyses, build models, and develop dashboards and reports that drive performance improvement.
**The Experience You'll Need (Required):**
+ Bachelor's degree, preferably with a quantitative major (e.g. actuarial, statistics, operations research, mathematics, economics) or healthcare focus (health administration, epidemiology, public health, biology)
+ 4+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, preferably with a payer, provider, or healthcare consulting organization.
+ Strong proficiency with SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
+ Exceptionally strong analytical abilities, with track record of identifying insights from quantitative and qualitative data
**Finishing Touches (Preferred):**
+ Master's Degree, especially with a quantitative focus (e.g. data science, machine learning, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering)
+ Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and calculations such as DRGs, Revenue Codes, CPT Codes, RVUs, bundled payments, etc.
+ Working knowledge of healthcare claims; specifically, differences between institutional vs professional billing and various sites of care/service
+ Familiarity with value-based care and utilization management
+ Understanding of data systems and the critical thinking skills to solve new problems and adapt to changes in data architecture
+ Experience with data platforms and tools such as Python, R, SQL, Hadoop, AWS, ArcGIS
+ Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft PowerPoint for data visualization and presentation.
**Mandatory Requirements:**
Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of **50 Mbps** and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
