IT Governance Analyst
The **Portfolio Enablement** team works to align IT Strategy with Business Strategy. Critical functions for the team include supporting the idea/project intake processes and facilitating the forecasts of capital, human resources, and infrastructure needed to support the evolving project portfolio. The team works with project portfolio tools and capacity reporting to provide insights and orchestrate the broader portfolio to maximize implementation delivery.

As the **IT Governance Analyst** , you with ensure IT projects and resources adhere to established processes and standards. This role combines aspects of project management support, governance enforcement, and training delivery within the IT PMO function. You will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing IT governance frameworks to enhance our organizational efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for interacting with all levels within the organization, optimizing and maintaining project standards, proactively identifying improvements that best align with the strategic priorities of the firm, measure KPIs, and analytical reporting. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership.

**This role is hybrid (Tue through Thu on-site) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area but only within the US.**

**_How you'll spend your time:_**

+ Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and reporting accuracy, and contribute to the development of best practices.

+ Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and report on portfolio health using various tools and methodologies, including dashboards and performance metrics.

+ Establish operational oversight through the development of IT metrics for Executive scorecards and Board reporting.

+ Communicate progress status, concerns, escalations to IT Governance and overall IT leadership.

+ Provide support to IT teams in implementing IT governance practices, promoting awareness, fostering a culture of compliance and assisting in projects when needed.

+ Define innovative and creative solutions that align to stakeholders' requirements across departments and technical teams.

+ Support PMO systems or process changes by collaborating with platform/process owners and communicating changes effectively to impacted portfolio teams and departments.

+ Develop training materials and providing support to impacted teams on methodologies, processes, and tools.

+ Provide user support and guidance of critical PMO systems.

+ You have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

+ You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology, Software Development, IT Project/Portfolio Management, or IT Governance functions.

+ You have demonstrated thorough knowledge and related work experience of the project management process and lifecycle including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

+ You have knowledge and experience in enforcing IT Governance processes, methods, standards, and tools.

+ You have demonstrated competency in implementing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths.

+ Strong critical thinking and analytic skills, including the ability to perform data analysis to support and draw conclusions.

**_Bonus Points If:_**

+ You have Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

+ You have banking or financial services industry experience.

+ You have experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and SharePoint.

**Compensation Range:**

$69,230.00 - $149,000.00
