Associate Director, Provider Engagement - Oncology (MUST RESIDE IN NEW MEXICO)

**What You'll Be Doing:**

*****MUST RESIDE IN NEW MEXICO*****

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Associate Director to lead our relationship with a large complex health plan and its associated provider practices. The ideal candidate will build deep relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Reporting to Director, Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for supporting operational needs of the health plan while also cultivating relationships with medical groups across the market.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Collaboration and Relationship Management**

+ Support health plan to achieve objectives and outcomes, including relationship, growth, retention and customer goals

+ Build and own relationships with key practice groups and providers. Stratify engagement strategies based on current performance

+ Set practice goals and monitor performance

+ Cultivate trusted relationships with day-to-day health plan contacts, practices and providers and internal teams

+ Run regular Partnership review meetings, including relationship mapping, issue identification, and action planning, in lead up to scheduled Client Value Meetings

+ Utilizes data driven resources to run efficient/effective meetings and work sessions with the client and all relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

+ Possess working knowledge of Evolent products and services and be able to articulate the value proposition for all at a high level

+ Partner with Plan's Provider Engagement Team and directly with practice contacts to ensure successful adoption and engagement of Evolent's solutions (i.e., prior authorization, clinical pathways) to ensure timely patient access to care and drive high provider satisfaction, measured by CSAT and NPS scores

+ Work closely with Evolent Clinical Team to support initiatives based on findings

**Support and Development**

+ Develop best-in-class presentation strategies and content for senior stakeholder engagements. This includes identifying key relevant content, and proficiency in storytelling via data

+ Implement relationship best practices and drive value communication.

+ Collaborate with internal team to develop materials and strategy for regular partnership reviews, including relationship mapping, issue identification, and action planning

+ Proactively manage risks and identify opportunities across account

+ Channel client and provider feedback into Evolent's product roadmap and strategic planning

**Operations and Leadership**

+ Collaborate cross functionally to monitor issue resolution and ensure timely follow up with particular attention to provider issues and abrasion

+ Proactive monitoring and internal collaboration to ensure timely identification and remediation of client risks

+ Maintain big picture view of client health, owning internal process around issue resolution via internal ticketing system and email traffic

+ Advocate for the client within Evolent, serving as an ambassador within Evolent and the go-to expert on client priorities and how to get things done within the plan

+ Manage the execution against client contract- including SLA performance and regulatory compliance

+ Use advanced analytics to inform engagement strategies, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improvement

+ Influence clinical and operational changes through effective communication, facilitation, and influence with practice leadership and practice administrators

+ Leverage experience with practices to deliver high-quality provider network engagement, and performance reporting to present to health plans

**Qualifications (Required & Preferred):**

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 5+ years in client or account management role

+ Healthcare experience required, clinical background preferred

+ Exceptionally high "Emotional Intelligence" and ability to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen, and identify key areas of sensitivity.

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly across all levels of the organization

+ Demonstrated success managing clinical and administrative leadership relationships

+ Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, payer/provider relationships, and utilization management.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

+ Ability to travel up to 25-30% (Required)

+ **Located in New Mexico**

**Technical Requirements:**

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $110,000-$125,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
