Job Summary
This nine-month, tenure-track (or teaching-track) faculty position requires teaching undergraduate courses in the Recreational Therapy program in the school, developing a programmatic line of research (if tenure-track), and providing service to the school, college, university and professional organizations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Teaching (online and face-to-face) in the undergraduate Recreational Therapy program. Teaching includes preparation of course materials such as syllabi, course content, homework assignments, and handouts; evaluation and grading of students' class work, assignments, and papers; maintaining student attendance records, grades, and other required records; and holding regularly scheduled office hours in order to assist students.
+ Provides academic advisement and faculty mentorship to undergraduate students.
+ Participates in service at a variety of levels, including program, school, college, university and community service.
+ For tenure-track appointments:
Commitment to build and sustain a robust research agenda to include creation and dissemination of new knowledge and pursuit of external research support.
+ Other duties as assigned.
