Senior QA Analyst - Pega Applications
**About the role**

As **Senior QA Analyst - Pega** , you will make an impact by leading quality assurance efforts for Pega and Pega Smart Dispute applications across various testing phases. You will be a valued member of the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) team and work collaboratively with Scrum Masters, Test Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

**In this role, you will:**

Lead onshore scrum teams as the QA Lead, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and sprint goals.

Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including system integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Pega applications.

Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on user stories and business requirements.

Utilize Pega's built-in testing tools and perform rule-based testing to ensure application quality.

Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in daily scrum ceremonies, defect triage meetings, and provide regular status reports to clients.

**What you need to have to be considered**

Proven experience in testing Pega and Pega Smart Dispute applications across SIT, regression, and E2E phases.

Strong knowledge of rule-based testing and hands-on experience with Pega's in-built testing tools.

Proficiency in creating and maintaining test plans, strategies, and test data.

Experience with Rally for managing testing deliverables and tracking progress.

Solid understanding of the BFS domain, with exposure to fraud, cards, and payments.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**These will help you stand out**

Experience with Selenium automation frameworks.

Familiarity with Maven, TestNG, Jenkins, and Java Rest Assured.

Demonstrated ability to mentor junior QA team members and foster a culture of quality.

Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

**Salary and Other Compensation**

Applications will be accepted until November 11th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $104,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
