**About the role**
As a **Senior SQL Product Specialist** , you will make an impact by leading the delivery of advanced analytic solutions that drive business decisions and improve healthcare outcomes. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, mentor team members, and leverage your expertise in data analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead the successful delivery of analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with clients and colleagues.
+ Act as an analytic team lead and mentor for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks.
+ Perform applied statistical research and custom analysis of integrated healthcare data, interpret results, and make actionable recommendations.
+ Utilize advanced SQL and reporting platforms (Tableau, Business Objects) to extract and analyze large datasets from multiple sources and create reports for decision-making.
+ Present analytic findings to clients and stakeholders and recommend data collection methods, metrics, and evaluation approaches.

**What you need to have to be considered**
+ Strong proficiency in **SQL Server** and **SSIS** for data extraction and transformation.
+ Experience with **QNXT** and healthcare data structures.
+ Hands-on expertise in **.NET** and **Excel Macros** for automation and reporting.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality results on time.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor other analysts.
**This will help you stand out**
+ Experience designing and conducting analyses using healthcare claims, pharmacy, and lab data.
+ Familiarity with Tableau and Business Objects for advanced reporting.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to turn analysis into actionable business solutions.
+ Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulatory requirements.
+ Ability to work effectively in an onshore/offshore model and collaborate across teams.
**Salary and Other Compensation:**
Applicants will be accepted till 12/08/2025
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $90K-$96K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
