Aftermarket Operations Manager
The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division (FMC) of Eaton's Aerospace Group has an opening for an Aftermarket Operations Manager. The position is based in Jackson, MS. Relocation assistance is offered to Jackson for candidates based within the US.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Jackson facility has approximately 550 employees working across seven days and is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

**What you'll do:**

This role reports directly to the Director, Aftermarket Operations FMC and is responsible for all aspects of the aftermarket repair station including resource management, training, FAA compliance, work scheduling, and process standardization. The role will drive the implementation of continuous improvement projects to improve key operational metrics and develop a high performance culture.

- Obtain results by collaborating with other functions, including Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service.

- Improve efficiency of repair station production processes, such as confirmation testing, tear down, assembly, and final testing.

- Responsible for the quality and productivity of the Repair Station.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Continuous Improvement culture.

- Strategically work with and interact with Upper and Divisional Aftermarket Business Managers.

- Increase employee engagement and focus on accountability to create a high-performing culture.

- Improve the velocity of material moving through the Repair Station.

- Conduct product audits to verify compliance with Component Maintenance Manuals and other work instructions, which are essential for maintaining FAA and Customer approval.

- Maintain conformity with ITAR requirements.

- Lead, manage, and develop both salaried and hourly staff.

- Maintain a working knowledge of product-support related data, including repair manuals, parts lists, service bulletins, and price catalogs, to provide customer support and identify business opportunities.

- Be responsible for key measures: Safety, Quality, Sales, On-Time Delivery, Productivity, First Pass Yield, and 5-S, including additional sub metrics related to these areas.

- Maintain a cross-training program.

- Conduct audits according to the scheduled frequency (weekly/monthly as assigned).

- Participate in interviews for both hourly and salaried positions.

**Qualifications:**

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations/Manufacturing supervision or management

Preferred Qualifications:

- Repair/Aftermarket business leadership experience preferred

- Experience in a manufacturing environment requiring compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations for a Repair Station

- Aerospace industry experience

- Advanced degree preferred

- Prior experience leading an hourly workforce in a union environment is preferred
