Our client is undertaking a significant modernization initiative and requires a Software Team Manager with quality assurance leadership to guide SDLC processes, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role will influence delivery excellence across complex enterprise systems and collaborate with development, architecture, and program leadership.

_Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2

**Responsibilities:**

+ Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements for moderately complex to complex information systems.

+ Define problems and develop plans and requirements for information systems architecture, networking and telecommunications, automation and communications protocols, risk management and electronic analysis, software development methodologies, lifecycle management, and modeling and simulation.

+ Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and define task interrelationships.

+ Identify and allocate resources required for each task.

+ Serve as a recognized subject matter expert qualified for assigned task orders.

+ Apply experience across emerging and legacy technologies related to the required area of expertise.

+ Demonstrate effective oral and written communication with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

+ Establish, implement, and maintain processes for evaluating software products and documentation.

+ Determine and manage resources required to support quality control activities.

+ Maintain quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

+ Conduct formal and informal reviews at predefined milestones within the development lifecycle.

+ Ensure compliance with defined quality, process, and delivery standards.

+ Provide daily supervision, leadership, and direction to quality assurance and support staff.

+ Collaborate with development, architecture, and program leadership to drive continuous quality improvement.

**Experience Requirements:**

+ 8 to 11 years of experience operating at a senior technical level.

+ 1 to 4 years of direct experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or Software Team Manager.

+ Experience supporting complex software solutions within IT systems.

+ Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.

+ Proven experience managing quality processes for enterprise or government systems.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and allocate resources effectively.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Prior experience supporting federal government clients (preferred).

+ Experience with large, mission-critical systems (preferred).

+ Familiarity with modern and legacy technologies in enterprise environments (preferred).

+ Experience operating in agile or hybrid development environments (preferred).

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
