**Position Summary**
The Senior Laser Scanning Specialist is a high?impact commercial and technical leader responsible for expanding market share and driving strategic growth in 3D laser scanning and reality capture solutions across the region. This senior role combines advanced product expertise, industry insight, and enterprise?level business development to influence key accounts, shape market direction, and establish the company as a preferred partner in geospatial and construction technology.
The position requires strong autonomy, thought leadership, and frequent regional travel to engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Strategic Business Development**
+ Lead regional growth strategy for laser scanning and reality capture solutions, targeting high?value sectors such as surveying, engineering, industrial facilities, construction, and infrastructure.
+ Develop and manage enterprise-level sales opportunities, including multi?stakeholder engagements and long-cycle deals.
+ Build and maintain a high?quality pipeline aligned with strategic market segments and revenue objectives.
+ Represent the company as a senior technical-commercial expert at major trade shows, conferences, and ecosystem events.
**Technical Leadership & Enablement**
+ Deliver advanced on-site and virtual demonstrations tailored to complex customer environments and workflows.
+ Serve as a subject?matter expert for laser scanning technologies, spatial data processing, and integrated field?to?finish workflows.
+ Provide high?level advisory support to key accounts, including workflow design, ROI analysis, and implementation best practices.
+ Collaborate with product, engineering, and solutions teams to refine offerings based on regional customer needs and market feedback.
**Key Account & Partner Management**
+ Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across enterprise accounts, channel partners, and industry influencers.
+ Support channel development by training, coaching, and strategically enabling partner organizations.
+ Lead customer success initiatives, including advanced training, onboarding oversight, and adoption acceleration.
+ Gather and synthesize field intelligence to inform market strategy, competitive positioning, and product roadmap discussions.
**Skills & Qualifications**
**Required**
+ Deep expertise in 3D laser scanning, reality capture, 3D point clouds, or geospatial technologies.
+ 5-10+ years in business development, technical sales, or senior customer-facing roles.
+ Proven ability to influence and close complex technical sales in the geospatial or construction technology sectors.
+ Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive?level relationship skills.
+ Strong autonomy, strategic thinking, and leadership in field?based environments.
+ Ability and willingness to travel regionally (50-70% or more as needed).
**Preferred**
+ Background in surveying, geomatics, engineering, construction technology, or industrial asset management.
+ Proficiency with point cloud and CAD/BIM software (e.g., RealWorks, Cyclone, Faro Scene, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
+ Experience delivering high?level training, technical workshops, or partner enablement programs.
+ Prior involvement in market development, segment strategy, or product influence roles.

**Base Pay**
Expected Base Pay Range: $100,000-$135,000 (dependent on location) + sales incentive.
The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for certain Bonuses.
