Description
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Compensation Manager to oversee the development and implementation of effective pay structures and incentive programs for our organization in Flowood, MS. This role is critical in ensuring compensation strategies are competitive, fair, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in compensation analysis and the ability to collaborate with HR and leadership teams to drive employee engagement and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive compensation structures, including salary ranges and incentive plans.
- Oversee annual compensation processes such as merit increases, bonus administration, and promotion reviews.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking using surveys and industry data to maintain competitive pay practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to HR teams and business leaders on pay-related decisions.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to design competitive and equitable job offers.
- Evaluate job roles and classifications to ensure alignment with market standards and organizational goals.
- Monitor compensation trends and recommend adjustments to maintain market competitiveness.
- Facilitate training sessions for HR and leadership on compensation policies and practices.

Requirements
+ Proven experience in compensation analysis and management.
+ Strong knowledge of compensation laws and regulations, including workers' compensation.
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's or CCP preferred).
+ 5+ years of experience in compensation, preferably in a mid-to-large sized organization.
+ Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
+ Experience with systems implementation.
+ Experience with compensation survey tools.
+ Experience with HRIS systems.
+ SAP SuccessFactors experience is desirable
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
