Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Nurse are to coordinate between the resident, the medical records, and facility staff to provide quality care and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program, college or university. Courses taken in nursing management or supervision and in rehabilitative and restorative nursing. At least two years experience working in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care institution, with training or experience implementing total patient care and care planning, and in making sound nursing judgments. In addition, will be familiar with policies, regulations and procedures of long term care.

Minimum Qualifications

Must meet the minimum age requirements for a work permit in Mississippi at the time employment commences.
