Consulting Technical Mgmt Director
**Job Description**

**Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a skilled Director to lead our VA Critical Support Team within a mission-driven organization.** In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of consultants supporting high-impact initiatives across live VA client environments. You will drive the strategy, execution, and delivery of efforts focused on resolving complex, persistent issues impacting end users, while partnering closely with Operations, Support teams, and VA leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) solutions, healthcare workflows, and team leadership within complex, highly regulated environments. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, driving accountability, and delivering measurable outcomes across multiple engagements.

**Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Lead and manage a team of consultants supporting VA Critical Support initiatives across multiple client sites

+ Oversee the identification, prioritization, and resolution of complex system and workflow issues impacting end users

+ Partner with Operations, Support teams, and VA leadership to drive alignment, accountability, and successful outcomes

+ Stablish and enforce operational processes, ensuring adherence to approved workflows and best practices

+ Provide strategic direction and guidance to team members, including coaching, development, and performance management

+ Oversee deployment of resources to live client sites, ensuring effective execution and issue resolution

+ Drive solution design efforts, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and integrated outcomes across systems

+ Influence customer and internal leadership to support adoption of solutions and resolution of persistent challenges

+ Contribute to and oversee development of statements of work (SOWs), staffing plans, and resource allocation

+ Monitor team performance, delivery metrics, and overall engagement health, proactively addressing risks and gaps

**Top skills or competencies to be successful:**

+ Strong leadership experience managing teams in complex healthcare IT or consulting environments

+ Deep expertise in Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) solutions and healthcare workflows

+ Ability to drive strategy while also ensuring strong execution and accountability

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership

+ Experience working across cross-functional teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

+ Knowledge of clinical domains such as Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Referral Management

**Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required):**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

+ 10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership or management experience

+ Experience supporting federal clients (VA/DoD) strongly preferred

+ Experience in consulting, implementation, or healthcare IT environments

+ Required travel up to 50%

+ US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
