As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with at least 8+ years of experience, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and microservices using modern technologies. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team, collaborating with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and front-end developers to deliver innovative solutions.

**In this role, you will:**
· Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications across web and backend layers using modern programming languages and frameworks.
· Customize and extend insurance and enterprise platforms (e.g., Guidewire?based systems) to meet diverse business and product requirements. Take end?to?end ownership of features from requirements refinement through implementation, ensuring high?quality, low?defect deliveries.
· Build and integrate APIs and services using modern architectural standards such as GraphQL and OpenAPI.
· Collaborate closely with cross?functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, Product Managers, and DevOps to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
· Identify technical gaps and propose practical solutions, improving system quality, performance, and maintainability.
· Provide technical consultation and documentation to support customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.

**What you need to have to be considered**
· Minimum 8+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript with experience across both frontend and backend development.
· Hands?on experience with insurance and enterprise platforms (e.g., Guidewire?based systems) to meet diverse business and product requirements.
· Hands?on experience with modern web frameworks and libraries such as Vue, HTML, CSS, and related testing tools.
· Experience designing and consuming APIs using GraphQL, REST/OpenAPI, and JSON?based integrations.
· Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and querying.
· Familiarity with containerization and cloud?native tools, including Docker and Google Cloud Platform.
· Experience with version control and CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitLab.
· Proficiency with development and collaboration tools such as IntelliJ, VS Code, JIRA, and Office 365.
**Salary and Other Compensation:**
The annual salary for this position is between $ 70,000 to $ 117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
