**The Main Responsibilities**

+ **Customer Onboarding & Delivery**

+ Lead end?to?end technical onboarding for enterprise customers, from kickoff through production go?live

+ Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design working with and in coordination with the technical project leads

+ Own onboarding milestones including device ingestion, CMDB readiness, connectivity validation, monitoring enablement, and E2E testing

+ Manage multiple onboarding efforts in parallel while maintaining delivery quality and customer confidence

+ Coordinate and validate backend technical dependencies required for onboarding, Partner closely with network, cloud/infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure, compliant connectivity prior to enabling monitoring or ticketing workflows

+ Oversee onboarding into monitoring and management platforms (e.g., CMDB, monitoring tools, incident workflows)

+ Ensure backend technical readiness is complete before activating alerting, ticket creation, or resolver workflows

+ Validate integration dependencies across monitoring, incident, and operational support teams

+ Act as the primary onboarding coordinator across engineering, security, platform, Technical Account Manager, and customer technical teams

+ Translate technical risks and blockers into clear mitigation plans and executive?level updates

+ Maintain onboarding plans, risks, dependencies, and status reporting

**The Role**

Primarily responsible for onboarding design, planning, execution and coordination activities for external customers into Lumen's service management platforms as well as ensuring transition handoff to the various managed services support teams. This role is responsible for end?to?end onboarding execution, with a strong emphasis on backend technical readiness, including network connectivity, IPSec tunnels, firewall, inventory, eBonding, coordination etc. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating with external customers and various technical teams, (such as IT, infrastructure, network) ensuring customers are technically ready to go live across complex, secure environments.Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience. Typically 10+ years related experience or 8+ years related experience with Masters degree.

+ 8+ years of experience in technical project management, design or other client technical engagement or service delivery experience

+ Direct experience onboarding customers into networked, monitoring, or managed services platforms such as Service Now

+ Demonstrated success coordinating designs and planning activities network, firewall, and cloud dependencies for production go?lives

+ Background in managed services, NOC, infrastructure, or enterprise IT operations environments

+ Excellent communication skills with proven experience working directly with external customers, technical teams and various level of Executive Leadership

+ Networking or cloud fundamentals certification (or equivalent practical experience)

+ Experience with modern delivery methodologies such as Agile and associated tools (Jira, ADO, etc.)

**Compensation**

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
