**Business Intelligence Consultant**
**Role Summary**
**The Business Intelligence Consultant - Data Engineering& Foundations** is responsible for building and maintainingthe technical backbone of business intelligence, ensuring data isaccurate, scalable, performant, and trusted across the organization.
This role owns the "what" and the "how" of BI - designingdata models, pipelines, and BI architecture that support consistent metrics,reliable reporting, and enterprise-scale analytics. This role partners closelywith BI Strategy, Enablement & Governance to ensure technical deliveryaligns with business intent and governance standards.
This position is not an ad-hoc reporting role. It is thebuilder of truth, scale, and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities**
Data Engineering & Architecture
+ Design, build, and maintain data models, schemas, and transformations
+ Develop and manage data pipelines that ensure timely, accurate data availability
+ Own BI platform architecture (e.g., Power BI) for performance, scalability, and reliability
Metric Implementation
+ Implement KPI definitions provided through governance frameworks
+ Ensure metrics are calculated consistently and correctly across reports and datasets
+ Support a true single source of truth
BI Delivery
+ Deliver curated datasets, enterprise dashboards, and automated reporting solutions
+ Build reusable, standardized frameworks to reduce rework and manual effort
+ Optimize performance and reliability of BI assets
Data Governance Support
+ Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices
+ Partner with Strategy & Enablement to validate requirements and confirm delivery meets intent
+ Support governance enforcement through technical controls
Continuous Improvement
+ Monitor data quality, performance, and usage
+ Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve BI infrastructure
+ Reduce technical debt and reliance on manual processes

**Skills & Experience**
+ Strong experience in BI engineering, data modeling, and analytics platforms
+ Expertise in data transformation, schema design, and performance optimization
+ Experience with enterprise BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
+ Structured, methodical approach with high attention to data quality and reliability
+ Ability to partner effectively with non-technical stakeholders through the BI strategy role

The minimum salary for this position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program
