**Overview**
GovCIO is looking for a Product Owner to join one of our client delivery teams. The candidate should have federal consulting experience, ideally working with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This is a remote working opportunity and the candidate must be an independent leader that takes the initiative to progress prioritized tasks. Core support hours are M-F 9am-5pm ET.
**Responsibilities**
We are seeking a Product Owner (Remote) with experience operating in an Agile development methodology/framework, as well as the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This individual must be comfortable working autonomously and leading small teams. Key responsibilities include:
+ Serve as the single point of ownership for assigned products and coordinate the delivery of new solutions/features, ongoing operations, and stakeholder engagement.
+ Represent the client's voice and lead business requirements analysis and refinement.
+ Lead a small team of business analysts to create requirement documents and interface/communicate with development teams for assigned products.
+ Act as the central point of contact internally and externally that can clearly communicate all aspects of an assigned product, including clarifying requirements with the clients.
+ Work with leadership to define and maintain the product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
+ Ensure each product is delivered in accordance with the requirements and to the appropriate standards.
+ Maintain product lifecycle processes and templates.
+ Manage product backlog including the analysis, resolution, and prioritization of issues and enhancements for assigned products.
**Qualifications**
**Required Skills and Experience**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related discipline plus 15 years' relevant experience.
+ Minimum of 3 years of product owner experience with proven ability to develop detailed requirements documentation for enterprise applications.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Agile framework and the SDLC.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead a cross functional team in orchestrating & delivering comprehensive solutions.
+ Experience developing product roadmaps for delivery and support of new products and features.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication.
**Clearance Required:**
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a IRS clearance
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $150,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
