Head of Logistics
**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As the Head of Logistics, you will oversee and optimize
logistics operations for a manufacturing site with multiple warehouses and a
shipping/receiving hub. Your day will involve managing a team responsible for
receiving, shipping, and warehousing activities across multiple sites. You'll
ensure inventory control processes are followed and enable seamless delivery of
materials to the manufacturing floor. In addition, you'll contribute to the
strategic vision by creating and executing plans to enhance logistics
operations and support organizational growth.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
+ Leadand manage the logistics team across multiple sites, ensuring efficientoperations in receiving, shipping, and warehousing.
+ Developand implement inventory control processes to maintain accuracy and supportproduction needs.
+ Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to themanufacturing floor.
+ Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics operations andalign with the company's strategic objectives.
+ UtilizeSAP or other ERP systems to manage and monitor inventory and logisticsprocesses effectively.
+ Fostera culture of leadership, accountability, and communication within thelogistics team.
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelor's degree in arelevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business, or relateddiscipline).
+ 10-15+ years ofextensive experience in logistics operations within a manufacturingenvironment.
+ Strongleadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate anddevelop a high-performing team.
+ Deep knowledgeand experience with SAP or other ERP systems for inventory and logisticsmanagement.
+ Proven trackrecord of driving operational excellence and strategic improvements inlogistics.
