**Data Analyst, Data & Analytics - Med USMPD**
Medical Segment Business Analytics provides customer sales insights, sales revenue and gross profit analytics, pricing and seamless access to information and capabilities to enable strategy and execution. The Data Analyst, Data Analytics works with customer, marketing, sales, and third-party data. This individual is primarily responsible for distilling large, complex data sets into valuable insights through dashboarding, spreadsheets, and/or presentations.
We are seeking an analytics professional who excels in the extraction, manipulation, and visualization of data. Candidates must be experienced in providing analytical thought leadership and telling insight-driven data stories.
**Accountabilities**
The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors' Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
+ 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics field preferred
+ Expert level experience with data visualization and using visual design principles to best communicate information (Tableau Desktop and Online experience preferred)
+ Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)
+ Expert level Experience with data exploration and mining tools (Alteryx experience preferred, Microsoft Excel)
+ Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (i.e. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) or demonstrated eagerness to adopt emerging AI technologies
+ Ability to identify business problems suited for AI automation and translate existing processes into agentic workflow solutions
+ Ability to identify and troubleshoot critical issues
+ Strong presentation skills preferred
+ Develops clear and well-structured analytical plans and analyzes large datasets
+ Helps business by interpreting data to assess and compare performance
+ Experience with business-critical applications
+ Experience translating vague requests into concrete deliverables
+ Experience with migrating legacy systems to modern cloud-based analytical solutions
+ Ability to adapt to fast changing environments
+ Experience with complex data environments and leveraging disparate data sources, including 3rd party data
**Responsibilities**
+ AWS/Google Cloud platform experience
+ Agile implementation experience
+ Understanding of database (SQL, Stored Proc), data ingestion, data warehouse, ETL etc.
+ Experience with AI-assisted development tools and orchestration platforms (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
+ Experience working with SAP systems
+ Experience with Python and/or R
+ Understanding of Project management lifecycle

**Anticipated salary range:** $80,900 - $115,500
