**About the Role**
The Engagement Director is a senior leader responsible for account-level ownership, strategic client partnership, and overall success of a portfolio of RWD engagements. This role combines executive relationship management, data-driven advisory, and delivery oversight to ensure clients realize sustained value from Norstella's Real-World Data solutions.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding how RWD (Open Claims, Closed Claims, EMR) can inform commercial, market access, and HEOR decisions, while overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities & Requirements**
+ Serve as the senior point of contact and account owner, building trusted relationships with VP- and C-level stakeholders
+ Lead RWD strategy, success planning, and long-term value realization across a portfolio of RWD engagements
+ Oversee multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, operational rigor, and consistent client outcomes
+ Provide strategic data advisory, translating RWD into actionable insights and guiding data selection and analytics approaches
+ Lead risk management and escalation resolution across delivery workstreams
+ Collaborate with product, data, and analytics teams to enhance solutions and improve scalability
+ Mentor and lead Engagement Managers and cross-functional teams, fostering strong collaboration and development
+ All other duties, as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Master's or PhD in life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, or related field
+ 10-14+ years of experience in RWD, life sciences analytics, or consulting
+ 5+ years leading client accounts or large-scale engagements
+ Deep expertise in Open Claims, Closed Claims, and EMR data
+ Strong domain knowledge in commercial, market access, HEOR, and/or epidemiology
+ Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes
+ Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex delivery environments
+ Proficiency with SQL/data structures sufficient to guide technical discussions
