**About the role**
As a **Senior Manager, Thought Leadership Editorial** , you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Editorial team, collaborating with marketing, digital, design teams, subject-matter experts, business leaders and executive stakeholders. You will have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and improve workflows while upholding our commitment to quality and continuous learning. **In this role, you will:**
+ Track technology news, market trends and Cognizant priorities to proactively develop content ideas.
+ Lead the writing and editing of high-profile short- and long-form content, including research reports, executive blogs, web pages and articles.
+ Partner with marketing, digital and design teams to support distribution, audience engagement and content performance while ensuring content aligns with brand, editorial and compliance standards.
+ Serve as a trusted editorial advisor to subject-matter experts, business leaders and executive stakeholders across the organization.
+ Help drive the responsible adoption of generative AI tools and use performance metrics to inform content strategy and optimization.

**What you must have to be considered**
+ 7-10 years of experience in B2B writing, editing or content strategy across long-form and short-form content.
+ Experience in professional services, journalism, consulting, public relations, technology marketing or a research-driven organization.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling stories and presentations.
+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organization.
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.
**These will help you succeed**
+ Curiosity about technology, business and the role of AI in shaping content and client conversations.
+ Hands-on AI skills, including fluency across models, experience creating agents and a strong editorial philosophy for responsible AI integration.
+ Working knowledge of SEO, AEO, GEO, data analytics and website readership metrics.
+ Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, navigate ambiguity and consistently meet deadlines.
+ Workfront experience.

**Salary and Other Compensation** :
Applications will be accepted until August 19, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
