Within this organization, Citeline plays a key role in helping clients connect the dots from pipeline to patient.

**Company Description:**

Citeline is the world's leading authority on commercial and R&D information for the pharmaceutical industry. We provide real-time intelligence featuring an unmatched data collection of global clinical trials, investigator profiles, drug development pipelines, company profiles, epidemiology data, and much more. Our Patient Engagement and Recruitment (PER) product suite delivers managed analytics services to leading CROs and life sciences organizations - combining Citeline's proprietary data and clinical expertise to accelerate patient identification, site selection, and trial enrollment at scale.

**Job Description**

As Senior Manager, Clinical Informatics Solutions within Citeline's Patient Engagement and Recruitment (PER) team, you will serve as a dedicated clinical real-world data analytics resource embedded within Citeline's managed service model, supporting CRO clients in executing pre-award feasibility and patient count activities across their proposal pipelines.

Your work is fundamentally oriented around the patient: who they are, where they can be found, and how real-world data can be used to reach them faster and more precisely within the context of clinical trial recruitment. You function as a clinical informatics working with one client, owning the translation of incoming protocols to support their RFPs into structured eligibility algorithms and RWD-driven population estimates that directly feed downstream patient engagement and recruitment strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Serve as the primary clinical real world data informatics resource for an assigned Citeline client, functioning and building that client relationship so you are embedded managed service FTE supporting pre-award feasibility workflows as part of Citeline's broader PER service offering.

+ Translate incoming protocols and RFPs into structured patient eligibility algorithms and executable database queries against Citeline's RWD sources, including medical and pharmacy claims, EHR, and laboratory data, with an eye toward actionable patient identification and recruitment planning.

+ Develop and maintain disease identification algorithms using ICD-10-CM, NDC, CPT, and LOINC codes, to ensure medically defensible cohort definitions aligned with sponsor and recruitment objectives.

+ Routinely execute SQL queries to produce patient prevalence estimates, treatment-eligible population counts, and geographic distribution analyses that support client site selection, enrollment modeling, and patient engagement planning.

+ Act as a clinical authority within the client's pre-award process, critically assessing protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria for real-world feasibility and flagging enrollment risk with data-informed mitigation recommendations.

+ Partner day-to-day with Citeline and client-side Business Development, Proposal Management, and Therapeutic leads to ensure feasibility outputs are accurate, timely, and positioned effectively within bid deliverables and defense presentations.

+ Leverage familiarity with CRO clinical delivery workflows including site feasibility, patient recruitment, and study startup to ensure Citeline's RWD outputs are contextualized within the operational realities of how clients actually execute trials.

+ Serve as the face of Citeline's PER managed service offering in client-facing interactions, including feasibility scoping calls, data interpretation discussions, and ongoing account touchpoints.

+ Contribute to the growth and refinement of Citeline's PER managed service model by surfacing client feedback, identifying capability gaps, and collaborating internally on product and service improvements.

+ All other duties, as assigned.

**Requirements**

+ 5+ years of experience in a clinical care or clinical research setting, with demonstrated hands-on use of real-world data systems in patient care or clinical research workflows.

+ Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Pharmacy (PharmD), Medicine (MD/DO), or a related clinical or quantitative field preferred but not necessary.

+ Direct experience working at or embedded within a full-service CRO in a clinical delivery, feasibility, site intelligence, patient recruitment, protocol design or data analytics capacity strongly preferred; equivalent experience supporting CRO clients in a managed service or consulting capacity will be considered.

+ Proven experience querying large healthcare databases (claims, EMR/EHR, laboratory) to support feasibility, patient identification, epidemiology, HEOR, or population health analytics.

+ Working knowledge of CRO proposal and pre-award processes, including site feasibility surveys, enrollment forecasting, and bid defense preparation.

+ Familiarity with patient engagement and recruitment strategies in clinical trials, including how RWD informs site and patient targeting decisions.

+ Strong familiarity with clinical trial design and the ability to critically interpret protocol eligibility criteria through both a clinical and real-world data lens.

+ Solid understanding of the drug development lifecycle and the operational realities of trial execution across phases and therapeutic areas including oncology, rare disease, and immunology.

+ Exceptional ability to communicate complex clinical and analytic concepts clearly to client stakeholders across BD, clinical operations, and senior leadership.

+ Comfortable operating independently within a client environment while remaining tightly aligned with Citeline's internal PER team, standards, and service commitments.

+ Highly organized and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent feasibility requests across client accounts without sacrificing quality.

**Benefits:**

+ Medical and Prescription Drug Benefits

+ Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

+ Dental & Vision Benefits

+ Basic Life and AD&D Benefits

+ 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match

+ Company Paid Short & Long-Term Disability

+ Paid Parental Leave

+ Paid Time Off & Company Holidays
