This is second-level professional network infrastructure work involving network operations, administration, troubleshooting, installation, monitoring, security, and support of communication systems and network devices. The incumbent works with network hardware, software, user devices, links, and infrastructure across multiple platforms and network configurations.Work includes monitoring capacity and performance, assisting with enhancements, implementing equipment or software changes, maintaining network security and backup processes, coordinating with internal and external support providers, and providing technical leadership to first-level staff as assigned.
